Duck Hunting Information:

Hunts are held every Tuesday and Saturday morning from October 1 thru March 30.  We begin each season by releasing more than 6,000 ducks in May.  This ensures that the ducks are flying wild by October 1.  We plant and maintain a variety of different crops and grasses to hold the ducks throughout the year.  Most days will end early with limits taken by all (based on the skill of the shooters).  Because we are a private preserve, arrangements can be made to exceed the limit of 4 birds per hunter.  For an additional cost, we also offer skeet shooting practice sessions.

Drive In Hunt 

$350 per Hunter

  • 4 bird limit (maximum of 1 box of 25 count gun shells)

  • Arrive 1 hour before sunrise

  • Additional birds beyond the initial 4 are $45. Maximum of 1 box of 25 count gun shells per hunt.

  • Additional hunts available at 9am and 1pm REQUIRES a minimum of 8 hunters, call for private reservations

Overnight Hunt 

 $550 per Hunter 

  • 4 bird limit (maximum of 1 box of 25 count gun shells)

  • Check in @ 3 pm or later and Check out @ 11 am. Please call for date availability.

  • Accommodations for the night prior to the hunt (onsite in our bunkhouse or cabin or, if available, our 7 bedroom farmhouse)

  • Hearty dinner @ 7 pm the night prior to the hunt

  • Additional birds beyond the initial 4 are $45. Maximum of 1 box of 25 count gun shells per hunt.

What Do You Need to Bring?

When it's time for your hunt, we will take care of the property and ensure plenty of ducks are available for your party. Keep in mind this is private land and is kept natural, meaning you will find vegetation of all types, plenty of water in the reservoirs and rough terrain. Your job is to bring the gear you need to make your hunt enjoyable. 

  • One box of #5 or smaller ammunition (no lead)

  • Gun (guns are available for rent)

  • Hunting mask (optional)

  • Waders/Hip boots (optional)

  • Retriever 

  • Small cooler (for carrying ducks home)

  • Hunting license (required for any hunter over 16 years of age)

  • Overnight gear (for those on an overnight hunt)

Rules to Keep in Mind

During your hunt, remember that there are a few rules to keep the hunt fair and fun for everyone. 

  • Maintain professional diligence when aiming and shooting, as well as retrieving your ducks.

  • Be mindful of private land and avoid venturing off the preserve.

  • Follow all limits on ducks per day (4 per day unless booked otherwise).
